Dr. Arjun Sharma

Dr. Arjun Sharma is Head of Neural Network Development at RadioPro LLC, where he works on the machine learning systems that support the company's mission to protect and manage intellectual property. He has more than 15 years of experience in artificial intelligence and neural networks.

He began in computer science as an undergraduate and pursued advanced study in AI. Raised in Mumbai, he earned his PhD in Computer Science with a specialisation in neural networks from the Indian Institute of Technology, where his research covered deep learning models and their application to content recognition and automation.

He started his career at a technology firm on AI projects for large-scale data platforms, then moved to a media technology company working on content recognition and rights management for music and entertainment.

Before joining RadioPro LLC he developed algorithms that automate the recognition of digital content across streaming platforms, so rights holders can track and manage their intellectual property. That work informed how accurate royalty distribution and content protection can be achieved.

At RadioPro LLC he worked alongside Dr. Eleftherios M. Rinos on the company's AI tool for producing audio renditions of existing lyrics and compositions. Their work focused on handling a range of musical styles and lyrical formats so creators get high-quality renditions of their work.

He now leads the Neural Network Development team, overseeing the integration of AI into content tracking, royalty management and data analytics, and he looks at the ethical questions raised by using AI in rights management.

His stated aim is technology that works in favour of creators and rights holders, and he emphasises collaboration and transparency in how those systems are built.
